i am 15 and i think i can come up with 3k by christmas or if that dont work by the end of next school year. ok, if you had $3,000,would you buy a descent used yamaha banshee, a descent used400EX, or would you save for a 4k and up raptor or yfz 450 or buy it new. oh yeah i can sell my race ready scooter when im done with it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Seen a very clean 01 Banshee today for $3000. It had the factory tires still on it and they still looked good. The paint on the bottom of the a-arms and frame wasn't even scratched much. The boy that worked at this shop said the owner would probably come down on it. Let me know if your interested and I'll hook you up with phone #s.

i would buy a used shee............no use in buying a new one.........except to loose more money.........wish I woulda bought a used one.......LoL

Same situation here, i'm sure i will be able to come up with 3,000-3,300 by christmas for a shee. Only problem is i can't seem to find any that aren't fully modded or decently modded which means they're a lot more than my amount, and usually are the newer models. i know the shee has never changed since it's debut so does anybody think i could find a shee 90-up for this amount? 3,000-3,300

 

I would save up and get the raptor. the shee is fast but high maint.

Well guys let me throw this out. I sold my Honda 250x and got some money to buy a banshee... Well I only paid $2,800 for the banshee... Well after a while I blew the motor and crap... Well It cost me $1,700 to fix it and what not.. I think he screwed it up before he sold it to me.. Moral of story.. You pay for what you get.. Be careful when you look run it a couple times before buying it.. I did but it still didnt help... Thought I would throw that in.. I would just but the $3,000 on a new banshee and pay rest out.. Not a used one... Used you dont know what its been threw.. New one you do..
