I have everything mostly stock so far,Im mostly aiming for looks, but what I want to know is if I start on the motor mods will it use more fuel or will it be barely noticable?Pipe, filter, jets, cams, anything. Please gimme the low-down on everything.Oh except carbs I know if you get bigger carbs it uses more(at least on my bikes).Oh,also,is it possible to get a more powerfull pipe but still be legal on the road(sound, not emissions or anything)? Thanks in advance.

As far as fuel usage goes, you wont notice any dramatic increase in consuption with bolt on mods. When you replace cams, pistions, and sleeves then you start to lose mileage. I dont think it would be necessary to get new carbs because the dual 33 setup is quite good and works well even with 686 bikes.
There was a DW shootout a long time ago comparing db levels. the stocker went in with 94, and no other pipe was under 100. The gytr wasnt tested. It might be quiter because of the smaller headpipe. The mbrp and a few others werent out at the time either. Another option is to buy a pipe like the ct that has a disc system. That way you can lower the noise to you desired level by taking out discs.
