you need a compression tester... its a gauge with a tire nipple on one end and a rubber boot to fit sparkplug holes.. more or less... and im not sure about the second Q

Stock Wolv is about 60MPH

Mine is about 63-64MPH I think, with very minor mods.

Top end with a lot of mods .. unlimited.

I dont know about that "unlimited"... Maybe with a bike engine and modified chassis. Insanely modded w/ oe engine and big bore probably 75/80 tops, with reasonable gearing.

Ahhh you knew what I meant .... it's just hard to put a number on the top end of anything. If there is a will and $$$ .... you know the rest

i think 60mph is asking a little much. (stock) maybe youll get 60 mph with a rider who's about 100 pounds and hes riding downhill with the wind at his back, lol. no, a stock wolvy should make about 55-58 with a normal rider, under normal conditions. i really dont think you could get 75-80 out of a wolverine, with enough wolverine left to still be recognizable as such. but thats just my opinion.

Well in all honesty I do that 63-64MPH right next to one of those fancy Hondas with the digi speedo. That's all I got to measure with but ... hey, if you don't have one and would like to say they are a few MPH slower, be my guest. Mine will still go 63 or 64, I do know that though

thats true, i was trying to be generous with the 75/80. you never know, somebody with a huge bore and a turbo maybe.

i never said yours didnt / doesnt do 63-64, i merely said that a stock one wont do 60. you did say that yours is mildly modded? IMO that is a worthy statement to add on the extra 6-7 mph you claim.

although i dont trust any numbers that havent been verified by a radar gun or GPS. speedos are cheap and usually made to say youre going a little faster than you are, to give you that warm feeling inside you know?
