Just curious...

Can you smell/tell when a bike (4-stroke) is running alcohol?

 

I don't know if it was alky or some other concoction but I've been behind some 4 strokes that made my eyes water when staging at the starting line. REAL acrid smell and a bitter taste in your mouth, not at all like the sweet smell of race gas.

 

I've been told that alcohol will make your eyes "burn".

Don't worry, I don't think anybody will be close enough behind you to smell anything. You will have to pay to keep me quiet though!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can smell it. It smells like a 2 smoke on alky just not as strong.

 

You can smell it, but it doesn't make my eyes burn. Alot of alky has scent added with the topend lube. My flavor this month is called candy.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Other additives will make your eyes burn, but I can't say for sure that alky will, mine doesn't though.

 

A buddy of mine had a AFX Car (Mopar) 2700 HP on alky he fired it up and man when he was done. My eyes were waterin throat was burnin. Its a nice feeling! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
