Tro Moto 125
Text Hello, this is my first post, just joined today. I recently bought an older Tri Moto 125, I had one back in the 80's when they were "the deal". Now I thought it would be fun for my boys to learn to ride one. Anyway, I have some questions, like how to detemine the year of the trike. Today we were riding it around, one of the boys thought it wasn't shifting right. So I had him shut it off and we kind of gave it a once over and it seemed fine to me. When I started it back up the engine was screaming, when I hit the **** to engine "stop" it wouldn't shut off unless I held the throttle wide open!? After looking closer at the motor I found 2 plastic lines dangling there. I can't seem to figure out where they connect. One goes down down to the crankcase but is not connected at the other end, it leads up under the frame below the seat. Until I can get a pic of the motor from a manual or here maybe(?) (I need some pics). I don't dare run the thing. Does anyone have any clues as to what happened? Back in the day when I had mine new I rode forever it seems like and never had much trouble, I hope this isn't something major. Thanks for any advice/comments.

friend of mine used to have a tri moto 125. might be the same one you now own i dunno. if i were you i'd pull the carb apart and clean it out real good and make sure nothins stickin. does yours have forks that are painted black and no graphics going down where the air scoops are and a rip right in the front of the seat? thats what my friends was like. that thing was a wheelie machine!
