He had just gotten the carbs and the filters were on back order or whatever so he did not have his new carbs for this run. Thanks for thinking of me. I actualy did finaly find a can and have been useing it. We stopped at Rocky Mountain ATV when we were on our vacation to St Anthonys/Ls Utah and Montana this past July and they had some. It is better than anything else I've tried so far. If your gonna do it, might as well go 727, what the heck. Hey sixsixT you didn't say how Selector's YFZ ran??? It was pretty scootin' when it was 'sober' I bet it's really getting with it now.
David, so glad to hear from you, we were thinking you might be burned up!
Wish I was there at the dunes, it was 7 degrees Saturday morning and I was totin' rifles with my oldest boy on top a mountain. Not all bad I guess.

Shady I didn't go riding with Selector he just stopped by our camp when I was packing up but Raptor03 was going to meet up with him at Olds. He was on the 450 when he stopped by and told us that he just put the carb on when he left to come down to Glamis and wasn't to sure about his jetting. It had a mid range stumble in it but thought that his mains were pretty close and that it felt good on top.

Fer sher. We've been having a ball, this being his first (big game) hunting season, and might head east over the divide this weekend to pop a couple of deer. The kid can shoot. Lotta fun when they get to the age of riding up with you and going out after big game.
But someday we'll end up in Glamis, just to say we did it and get out of here when it's cold. Do they ride in Glamis all through the winter till it gets too hot in the late spring?

Hey... just got back about an hour ago - (10) hours OTR! I posted on the "Glamis Report' thread, but I'll summarize here too...
The drunk 467 ran real well. I got the thing fitted w/ the new 42mm and running on booze Friday and didn't do anything else. Drove all day Saturday - hit Glamis @ 8:00 p.m. Sunday morning set the clip all the way down on the needle and went riding. Bottom end/mid still had some issues, but it was good enough to get out there an run the hill. I was very impressed and would have loved to run some of the Raptor guys here.
I had a hard time w/ the whoops so I ended up running over where the drag shees run - I liked it better anyway - great starting pit. It's tough to judge the performance of a new setup on a hill you've never seen, but I can tell you that I don't/didn't up-shift to 4th here in Utah before. I'd dare say that Olds is just as steep as the valley @ Sand Mountain, just half the distance - maybe. I was getting to 4th and still pulling Sunday. I don't know if it was the sand or my machine or both????
Who's that skinny kid on the all white 3-wheeler? Pretty cool little rig but so not fast I could'nt run him down.
My season's nearly over with winter and all, but I'll be hard after it in the spring and perhaps some of the mild days of winter.
Look out for more from Ron Wood's shop. I'm as "wild" as I'm gonna go, but he's got some scary things in the works.
