Default Quick Raptor Question

Yesterday when I was riding down the road my Raptor started spitting and sputtering and backfiring. I stop and looked in the gas tank and it was still half full. I turned the fuel **** from "on" to "reserve" and it started running like it was new. Any suggestions. Thanks.

inside your tank there are tubes for picking up the fuel. they have small screens inside them. the one for your on position might be plugged. thats where I would start.

Just a guess but I'm assuming that it was lower than you think.... either that or for some reason the fuel wasn't able to flow through the "on" part of the valve.

Default Quick Raptor Question

The tank was half full, because when I left the house I put about 1.5 gallons in the tank. I will check the hoses to make sure they are clean. Thanks for the info. Also I noticed that I forgot to mention. When I got home I took the hose off the outlet of the valve and started draining the tank a little and noticed the on position drained slower then the reserve position.

My Rappy also has a very conservative on postition. It seems to run out at about a half tank too. It's good if you take long rides you'll have enough fuel to get you back on reserve but on the other hand it is somewhat of an annoyance. You're not the only guy with the issue....

Definitely something in your main "feed" tube. Take it off and blow into it from the "on-reserve" end. It'll clear out.
