air box lid

Default air box lid

what does it mean when u remove ur air box lid? u just take it off and run it like that ?

do u need one of them sleeves to put over ur air filter to do it or can i have just the k&n air filter ?

Default air box lid

Well runnign without the lid means no lid on the airbox, you prolly need to cut the lid to run the stock filter, the lid helps hold it in. Most people have the pro flow adapter so the lid isnt needed to keep the filter in, and they just run without the lid, the same thing with no airbox.

You'll also need to rejet the carbs due to more air flow = You need more gas to put in w/ the more air.
