i really appreciate all the responses to my jetting problems...keep em' coming ...i'll try anything. I found a really cool website a while ago with a yfz dyno on it... www.gtthunder.com (i think it was) the guy on there had done the cam mod and was running with the airlid off, and he was using the stock pilot jet,had the needle in the 5th clip position,and was running a 170 main jet. (really awesome dyno results!)
We went riding at a small track on Sunday...(colder than crap!) it seemed to run pretty good , although i didn't have a spot where i could really open it up, think i will take all of your advices' and go up to a 170 main and give it a try!The Yamaha dealer also said to move the clip into the 5th groove (after they had already told me the 4th one!Grrrrrr!!) Anyone know if you half to have any special tools to do the cam mod??? My A-arms didn't come today....hopefully tomorrow. thanks again people! catch yah' lata!!

i'd ask you guys to come down and give me a hand, but i don't know if i could afford to replace all those loose bolts that i found the next day!LMAO (DAMN Kids!!) ok, i'll call if i get them tomorrow..how bout' some top round deer steaks for a poor starving lobsterman??!! gotta go ..see yah!
