Default Wolverine Mudflares?

I love the way my wolvy looks , But tired of scapeing mud out of my clothes,
Is there anything out there for the 04 wolvy that looks good and has A bit more mud protection?
And if so how much does it cost.
In my case money is an extremely scarse commodity.

peace

Yamaha has a set of fender flares for the Wolvy. I think they are priced around $140, kinda high but they fit great and look factory installed. I think they threw em in when I bought my Wolvy. I had to install them myself. I have seen cheaper ones, I think in Dennis Kirk, but they don't fit or look as good.

Moose makes these, with a little trimming on the front they look decent. IMHO they work better than the OEM set, even if they don't look quite as good.

lol, no prob,

It just so happens that I have 2 sets of plastic, one has Yammy guards, one Moose guards. The Moose guards keep the mud off better, but unless you trim the fronts, they are not attractive.

I seem to rememeber someone telling me that the Yammy ones are NLA.

Actually, I would like to sell my green plastic, but I don't know that it's what you want on an 04 Wolv. It's in good shape, but unlikely to be as nice as what you have.

You'd think in this many years they would have put a little better protection on these things. It has to be one of the biggest complaints. I know I get incredibly muddy on mine and then all of the family laughs at how foolish I look when they are playing in the same mud but barely get a splash. I'll be covered head to toe, they'll be taking pictures. I thought it was bad originally ... whew ... then I got the 489XT's and all hell broke loose. Oh well, at least it is fun
