Default New Raptor Carillo Rod replacement

I'm jerking the motor out to rebuild, (craycraft) I'm thinking of changing the rod, can the rod be changed without having to crack the case in half. My motor skills are some what limited. To date my accomplishments have only been 1-way, cam, clutch, as you know there were very few parts to remove to change these. Whit the connecting rod bing in the case I'm thinking that my motor skills maybe a bit lacking. I could just send the whole motor out and save the trouble, but I'm not sure what to do. Any advice would be great.

Thank you

Yes you need to take everything apart to do the rod. I would send the whole thing to Craycraft at least the crank so it can be sent out to be trued and balanced when installed.
