Pic help?
#1
I know this is off the "yamaha" topic guys, but help me out. I posted(I thought) some pics this morning in my profile, and went about the procedure as follows:
- Clicked on "add picture"
- Clicked on "browse"
- Selected picture
- pop-up says "updating profile"
- after not seeing a "finished" option I just closed out the window, and started on the next one.
Its been a couple hrs now, and no pics? Did I do something wrong? Thanks for the help as always.

Are you using a dialup connection? That might be some of the trouble .. the server might be timing out on the upload.
Also, you should be aware that there are some restrictions on the size of pictures you can post.
Resolution: 750 x 750 max
Size: 150kb max
When I add photos, I follow the same procedure you just stated, and when the pic is loaded, it brings me back to the photosheet, where you select the next cell you want to put a photo in.
If there was an error with regards to size (res or file size) then the system should prompt you, letting you know what restrictions you have not adhered to. Otherwise, it should load the photo and put you back to where you add the next photo.
Probably not much help to you, but that's about all I can figure.
