Default 20's or 22's?

Which rear tire size would be best for a blaster for trail riding? i need ground clearance and i'm afraid 20's wont give me enough, but 22's are kind of too big. what do you all think? I think i've decided to go with bandits.

depends on how fast you want to go. and 22 are going to rub or be close to rubbing. I have 21 paddles and they rub on tight turns.

yeah i was worried that they would rub. i guess i'll get 20's and an inch or two less of ground clearance won't be too bad. thanks for the help man

I researched tires for two months and came up with 4 ply 22" Razrs. I've decided that they were NOT the best choice for me. They do hook up and get me over obstacles and through mud better than my stockers. However, they will NOT slide at all in tacky conditions. They also have some sidewall flex and they make my Raptor look like a friggin' Big Red. I've only riddin on them once and it was wet so I can't say what they're like in dry conditions. I just wish I would have left my stockers on. JMO

lol, 22' razrs look very funny for some reason. i think the square looking tire looks funny when they are too big.

but my mud machines are 22's and they make my raptor look MEAN

i run 20" fast trekkers and i ride lots of trails, they work good and i am going to stay with the 20" size next time i need tires. if you want to go a little bigger, 21s would also be ok. somebody mentioned the mud sharks, they are a good tire if you want a slightly bigger tire

ive had both... and i like both, 22's give good clearance and DO NOT rub. 20's are nice for overall but id say for trail go with the 22's.

I mentioned the 21' Mud Sharks. And they are a good trail tire. A good size to.

But I'll stick with 22' Mud Machines for trial riding, and something alittle smaller(20's) for general riding.
