trikes on the track

I call BS on you guys.
How many of you so called experts have even ridden a 200X?
You keep spouting the same nonsense about three wheelers you saw on TV.
Yes you can race a 200X.
Does the name Curtis Sparks mean anything to you.
He won the Baja 1000 ATV overall on a 200X.
What kind of race?
How big are you?
How good are you?
Let's figure out the best setup for you.
Do it.

200x suspension is a little soft.
-Adjust the preload in the rear.
-Add spacers to the front springs
-Heavy fork oil
-Raise the forks in the triple clamps to lower the front end and quicken the steering. (make sure the front tire doesn't hit the fender)
-9X9 rear wheels with a 3-6 offset will get you another 4 inches width in the rear.
-20" or 18" rear tires with gearing to match.
You might want to ask the same at http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/
They will be behind you all the way.
Check out this guy.

and thanks for sticking up for me about trikes being safe, i am tired of people always saying "yea i rode one of dem derm things and it threw me off when i tried to turn" well duh, first time ya rode it and you thought since the atc250R has the same engine as your quad ya oughta be able to ride it just as well right? wrong! it's the same thing as giving a 10yr old the keys to a car, someone is gonna get hurt

I own an '85 200x and I jump it all the time. Once you get to know the handling Do's and Dont's jumping becomes second nature.
A friend and I took it out on a motocross track and we were clearing decent sized doubles(20-30ft?) no prob.
The fact that ATC's are more dangerous than quads applies to the rider not the vehicle. It does take some getting used to, unlike quads which most people can just hop on and take off on; a three wheeler will most likely flip you off. Once the rider understands how the machine is going to handle, they can then begin to ride aggressively.
