I'm planning on heading to Gordon's Well for the 26th-31st. . . if something falls through, Pismo will probably be the back-up!

Were planning on going up a day or two after christmas to get the bikes broken and dialed in. You should head out to Pismo if you cant make it to Gordons Well, I sure wish I could go to Gordons Well [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

 

SandMan12 - I would like to race you sometime, I have a 690 on gas and if you couldnt beat MadRacings 690 then I dont think you have a chance with my bike.... hehehe. Its all fun though. I got my FCR's now and it really goes good. Just love that sand at Pismo, cant stay away from it no more than a month.

 

Sorry I havent answered for so long everyone!!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] And SandMan12 how modded is your yfz? Cause mild yfz's will not take 690's near that easily. The yfz's I raced were 300ft hill climbs. One had pipe and filter. One just had a slip on. And one had a pipe, jetted. and filter. The last one beat me once but I got him the second time [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I was stupid enough to race a 686 with 39FCR's.. Man did he freakin kill me up that hill.. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] I think I might be heading out for Glamis on New Years. If glamis does not work out I will be heading out too o so fun pismo [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] lol

I didn't know Pismo had 300ft hill climbs?????? Someone's going to have show me where that hill is!!! And "DieScarred" if all you have is the mods you listed, Your going to be in for a rude awaking when run into this YFZ owner.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

300 ft hill climb at Pismo...it's the flats...they have a slight rise. LOL

Or they get back 300' from the mound formerly known as comp hill.

My YFZ i guess you could say is mildly built. But i am not done with the motor yet. Oh and i dont tell anyone what is done to my motor. I have the 3rd fastest YFZ at Pismo that i KNOW of. first is Eddie Sanders, 2nd is my Friend Bill he has some "stuff" done to his bike, and i am 3rd with some mods on my bike. Later

 

i know my piped, filter, jetted raptor runs side by side and pulls away from piped, jetted, and filter yfz's.

yfz is quicker through the first three gears but the raptor catches and passes in 4th and 5th.

 

Exactly.. Once I hit fourth or at high on third gear I would pull away from the 450. The hills werent steep.. At all lol. They just had some raise to them. Not very steep.
