I have no doubt in my mind that he can make a BEAST outta a yfz..........
I will be talking to Bob C. tomorrow......if they did it with the Raptor.....they can do it to the yfz!

You can build a Raptor to crush a YFZ though. Like people have said, no replacement for displacement. The Raptor can be built into a absolute monster. Not many options on the YFZ. You can make it a true 450, and I'm sure it will absolutely smoke, but the Raptor can be built huge. And as Bob has already shown everyone....he can drop them to 4.2.........and I'm sure lower. Can you imagine a Raptor under 4.0....I can.

There is a replacment for dispacment. Its called "more revs". The question is how much can the motor handle we will see soon enough.

I'm doubting a YFZ will dip under 4.0....not saying it isn't possible, but it's a stretch. Will a raptor do it....sooner rather then later in my opinion.

I just happened to talk to Skip TODAY at Sandtech racing here in Las Vegas and he builds motors for long distance desert racing, he told me that he has been working on a YFZ and he recently found a kit that puts out 70hp ON GAS!! I was shocked to hear this, but I know him and he has always been a very honest guy, and the dyno that he tunes with is NOT very forgiving, it is RIGHT ON with the #s.

Imagine that amount of hp, then lightened and alkyed up!!!!

The YFZ is one sick quad, and if it takes all the 686 basically stock, I think there worth there wieght.
Anyways who actually goes and does a full out 727 raptor with everything you could think of, I couldnt afford it being im 15 but I sure would want a quad from the factory with some impressive performance.
