raptor idles up?
#1
ok all i have a 2002 raptor with the foam replacment air filter (double foam) it has a dg extreem stage 3 pipe i believe thats all thats done motor wise.. right now im back on stock jets.. even though it says to run 150/155 it runs really rich... so here is my question why when its cold i have to turn the idle screw in then as it warms up i have to keep backing it out... this happens at all temps.. if its 70 out.. i still have to use the choke to start it.. and it wont idle.. turn the idle screw in.. and it idles.. then back it off as it warms up.. i also noticed it does seem to be lean in the idle head pipes glow a bit in the dark if i let it sit and idle for a long period...
