wolverine oil change

Default wolverine oil change

anyone know how much oil i put in after draining it???
and should i change the oil filter???
maybe i should check the manual.
this is easier though.

I don't remember exactly, but I THINK I bought 3 qts and only needed 2? check your manual though!

I don't think there is a filter for the Wolverine.

be careful when you drop the plug, there is a spring. Took us awhile to find ours [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Default wolverine oil change

Yep the wolverine has a filter. Behind the cap where the oil hoses mate with the engine.
Approx. 2.5 qt.

ok, but it isn't a spin on type is it? It's just a metal screen?

been a few years since I worked on the one we had and I honestly don't recall

It's just a metal screen that can be cleaned with brakleen. Don't go buy a new one.

does the oil just drain from the filter area or is there a plug?

There is a plug under the engine. Also check the rubber o-ring before putting it back on, I usually use o-ring lube when I put the plug back in.
