We have only been out one trip so far and that was the Cinders and they kicked my a$$ I did a few things and should run better in the dunes thanksgiving. I will have tons of races on film so I hope someone can host the videos so I can post them on the forums.

I don't think you got any action on the Sparks vs Craycraft posts when we got back. Here is the link, it got pretty long, but I go over everything.

Thanks for the complement. Too bad our vehicles are not as nice. Can't legally go fast on the road, so might as well go fast in the sand. Beater trucks are the way to go.

Beater trucks. I had a 66 ford with a 352 and a three on the tree, it took at least three pumps of the peddle before it would even think about slowing down. I miss that truck.

Got another vote for beater trucks. The best truck I ever owned was a turd brown GMC s-15, five on the floor, no ac, and no power streering. Its 4cyl would barely pull a tandem axle with 4 quads up a hill in fifth, but you couldn't kill the ole truck. I never did anything to it other than oil changes and gas for a year. I miss it too.

To qualify for a beater you MUST have at least three different colors Hood is brown, front fenders primer grey, bed white, cab red, and it used to be used for a paint truck so about 10 different colors inside the bed.

LOL

My grandfathers truck that we take to work would qualify then. It's bed and cab are maroon. The drivers side front fender is primer grey, and the hood and passengers side fender are a dark reddish color. LOL

It's a 91' S-10 with 200,000+ miles on it. We drive it to work everyday. 40miles there and 40back. Just change the oil every 2000miles and add the cheap gas to it. It's a 4cly. 5spd. 2wd.
