quick raptor jetting question

Default quick raptor jetting question

just rejetted my raptor form 142/144 to 146/148, 3 turns out. the header seems to slightly glow. should i change the jets again, turn the mixture screw or reset the needle clip. has a slight sputter but its not consant. im running pro desighn/k@n no lid yoshi slip on an dyno jets.

Default quick raptor jetting question

Are you using the Dynojet needles or Stock? What clip are the needles on? and where at in the RPM is it sputtering?

they are dyno jet needles but im not sure what clip there on. ill have to check it. it somtimes sputters when i let off and at 3/4 but not full throttle in nuetral. i did also just put the tec quite kit in with the medium end cap. and the header only have a slight glow

Default quick raptor jetting question

If you just put a quite kit in the exhaust then you'r jetting should have went down (leaner) than before the kit. If nothing else has changed. Make sure the needle is on the third clip and go from there. also check the float level. Your bike should run perfect by the instuctions in your dynojet kit for your application. You also need to ride the bike to get a feel for what its doing! Running it in nuetral will tell you nothing!
