All of mine are up and running, but I'm going to tear the raptor down this weekend. The head pipe is getting sent back and replaced foc from ct, pinhole. New piston/cam possibly in the works and I have some shocks and a homemade steering damper to install.

Been wanting to tear mine down completely for a good cleanin'(as the previous owner didn't seem to clean my baby very well ), but weather has been too awsome here lately. Just changed the oil, filter and tightened the chain. Valves are still in spec, air filters clean, everythings good to go. Getting my front fenders and seat cover this week.(again previous owner thought it would be cool to cut off the fenders, and put glue all over the seat for better "b*tt traction") So I'll get to throw those on next week. The fun stuff; 02' trans kit, 11:1 Piston, and aftermarket exhaust will have to wait another yr or so.... House is just too expensive.

Let me ask you, do you THINK my Raptor is up and running? Is it ever? LOL

I'm waitting on money for this new trick clutch set-up I found, and I am doing some other semi minor stuff while I am waitting. I'll have even less plastic and more bling bling when I am done.
Ward, your just like me! We have Tinker Itis. But atleast I like my plastic. lol, J/K

well finished the the tranny upgrade and engine mods (thanks to 14mins and bob craycraft) also swapped main frame and added LSR subframe...as well as dropped down from +3 to +2 on a-arms. had shocks re-built @ Elka.

2.5 hrs of break in time...and BAM! hit a tree. Damn wet leaves. in the 2.5 hrs of riding...i had a boner the whole time. JE piston and stage 1 hotcam worked as promoted. and the new tranny shifted like butter.

replacing A-arm ball joints...tie rod and ends. should be back for the attack on Turkey Day. Gobble Gobble!

in all seriousness: this Holiday coming, i will be giving thanks at my table to 14mins,Bob Craycraft and Warrior007. for helping get me back in the game. first time i've torn into a bike engine...let alone a tranny. you guys made it painless. and i felt like you were all with me every step of the way.

i hope you and yours enjoy a great Thankgiving Day.

the R is scattered all over the garage, should pick up candy red powdercoated frame on wednesday. Need new cases, and lots of other shiny new parts.

Warrior is still running strong other than the damn battery keeps leaking acid onto the swingarm, second battery that has done this to me, easy fix though. Leaks a little bit of oil, other than that, she just sits in the garage.
