Default Banshee jetting

I just bought a Banshee(2000 model). It has a K&N and a jet kit. It also has a set of Paul Turner high revs. It seems to be running rich. It comes out of the hole good but it doesnt have alot of top end. I ran it at the river and would come out good but the middle of third I would get sucked up by the rest of the Banshees. In a few days Im going to start tuning but can anyone give me an idea of where to start on jetting and needle. It seems rich and Im at sea level. Any help would be great.
