Everyone that discusses the Wolverine on this board says the same thing "It doesn't have any low end power", I say you're full of it! Yesterday while doing some fourwheeling in a 99 Toyota Tacoma I sunk the truck down to the rear axles (2wd PreRunner) and dug some nice trenches by spinning the rear tires. The tires filled up with mud and wouldn't get any traction. After an hour and a half of wedging wood and putting down gravel someone suggested I try and pull it with my Wolverine. I was tired by this point and said what the heck, we hooked up to the two tow hooks on the front of the truck, put the Wolverine in reverse (on dry ground), and to my surprise the little quad had enough torque to pull it out! Surprised the hell out of me....I think I'll keep it!

I've seen a Polaris 500 Sportsman pull an extended cab TRD Tacoma out of a mud hole before.
and heard that the same 500 has pulled out a Jeep before as well.
it's possible

Yep, sure did in reverse. If it won't do it, like you claim, then how did I do it? Magic?

Maybe using the reverse gear is what made the difference. I had a hard time pulling my buddy's big bear out of a puddle that he had stalled in. He wasn't even stuck. He was just in water over his engine and his plug wire got wet, and my wolverine could barely pull him out. Next time, I'll try reverse. After all, it is the lowest gear in the bike.
