Hp Vs Swingarm
I think it depends more on your riding style than how much power you make. You could have a fully hopped up Banshee, but if you never push it, you probably don't need a swingarm. On the contrary, a stock Shee rider who is constantly climbing hills probably could benefit from one.

I like my 686 with the stock swing-arm for everything except the Drags. But am Weird I would take a 410 Banshee with a -2 swingarm. Yeehaawww!

I went with +4 on my Raptor as a means to enhance the rear suspension in the big rolling whoops (dez type stuff) and rough sections. The longer swingarm effectively gives ya more wheel travel and stability. My motor is stock so keeping the nose down wasnt an issue. But, I have noticed that it hooks up real solid being longer and it handles very nice in the slides. My front end is slightly wider (1.5 inches or so) than the rear and the little bit of oversteer coupled with the added length make it really slide out nice and track in the berms.
I have noticed that it sucks on a MX track since it's much harder to get the nose light on jumps and such - it really nose dives on the steep jumps if you are not prepared - it's not fun on a track. The stock length is MUCH better on a track. I'm basically right-on for high speed desert stuff.
