Caliraptor: You asked how to "read the sparkplug"- remove the plug and look at the electrode at the bottom. If it's real black and sometimes even wet, you're running too rich. If it's almost white/light grey, or looks even burned, you're too lean. Also look at the condition of the electrode (the area that you set the gap on when gapping the spark plug). If it looks eroded and you haven't been using the plug for an extremely long time, it could mean that you're running too lean and/or the plug you have installed is too hot. Medium grey color of the electrode with no erosion means you're burning fine.

Cali this is not the first time I've heard of the spring breaking. Do you still have the originals?

I think those are the originals, not sure. I had my dealer do the jetting so Im not sure what they used. Does the DJ kit come with other Diagphram Springs?

Cali, don't mean to change the subject, but you list carbon fiber all over. Where do you get you carbon fiber parts and what do have if you don't mind? TIA

Got my carbon fiber hood, labels, tank cover and "puke bottle" cover just havent put on the last two. I will put them on next week when I re-jet. I got them on ebay pretty cheap. All I need now is the brake reservour cover and the frame guards!

I like the puke bottle is it worth the $55 or did you get it cheaper. I have the hood, tank and labels also.

worth every penny, looks sweet and protects the bottle. Only problem is that once I put it on I wont be able to see the coolant level. But who cares? I never check it anyways
