well i have a 2003 polaris trail blazer right now and im starting to look at dirt bikes. my parents said if i trade in my quad theyll buy me a 2004 yz 125. i ride with a scrambler 400, predator 500, and a trailblazer 400. i know ill take the 400's and might have a chance at taking the predator( i rode my friends yz and damn that thing was fast, it was an 03 by the way.) the 04's have a new 48mm fork and a bunch of new things done to the motor so the 04 is even faster( faster omg!!!) well should i get the yz or just upgrade the $hit outta my quad? any input is appreciated cause the time is coming close to making my descision.

 

i ahte dirt bikes... you wouldnt take the predator by a long shot.. and i think you should either upgrade your quad or get a different one.

 

If your into fast go dirtbike.

 

Get the bike but don't plan on beating any predators with it... My DS650 makes my friends KX125 look pittilfly stupid! And I know a Predator will go close to my DS so that's how I come to that conclusion. The bike will be so much fun though, you wouldn't even be worried about it! i don't think you could take the predator with a yz125, but you could take him with a yz250!!!

 

You can take him on the MX track if that's what you are into.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

i would get the dirtbike but i doubt you will be beating the pred. but u will out style him by a long shot JMO i think they things are ugly but get a yz250 or yz450f.

 

if u want speed go bike... but it wont beat a preditor i dont think... but id personally spend the extra $700 for a 250f... the 125's are niice but i like the 4 stroke better.

 

thanks guys for all the replys i am gonna go with the yz. by the way im only 14 so no way would i be able to ride a yz450 or a crf 450. this will also be my first dirtbike but i have rode them before ( kx 80 yz 125 and a xr 100).

 

The Yz125 has a way more funner thrill factor than the predator thats for sure.
