Default Raptor problems....Need tech advice

I took off my parking brake this weekend and put on the Alba Block Off Plate. At the same time, I removed my stock clutch perch, lever, and parking brake lever. I replaced it with an Applied Racing Adjust on the fly Clutch lever and perch.

I now have 2 problems with my Raptor. 1) It won’t start in gear. It will only start if its in Neutral. And 2) When I put it in reverse, it bogs down and sputters like the parking brake is engaged. But as soon as I let out the clutch enough, the bogging stops and the revs pick up.

I’m sure this has something to do with the wires that were connected to the stock clutch perch. I just took them off and wrapped the ends in electrical tape behind the radiator. Was I supposed to do something with these wires like ground them or something?

Please help. Thanks.

i had the same problem except i broke mine off in a rollover, if i remeber correcly you want to take the wires for the clutch and splice them togather. but be carefull, by doing this the starter wll turn even with the clutch engaged, so if you push the starter button the quad will jump if it is in gear. and the parking brake switch should be fine the way it is, but i can`t remeber, but i`l check when i get home this evening hope this helps but like i said i cant remeber but try that and see if it works and i will look at mine when i get home.

Two different wiring circuits, one for the parking brake and one for the clutch. Disconnect the white connector beside the radiator and leave it disconnected. Take the two bullet style connectors and plug them into each other beside the radiator, those are the ones that are causing you trouble.

and as for it bogging down in reverse thats normal. The raptor is eqipped with a reverse rev. Limiter which i think tops out at 2000 rpm. I just installed a bypass kit on mine. Was $15 on ebay and came with a lighted switch and installation was a breeze if u know what ur doing
