New Banshee???
#1
A friend just told me today that Yamaha has come out with a 2005 banshee that has new plastic, is there any truth to this rumor? He says he has seen them at sand lake already, which doesnt make sense to me, 1. because there isnt a big crowd of people at sand lake this time of year, as a matter of fact, i think its closed for winter, and 2. if its a 2005 model, it probably wouldnt be released til mid to late 2004. anyway, im just trying to figure out if this is true or not. (i dont really have much faith in the stuff this guy says, but just checking) he also says that there is also a Honda 250R coming out, yes, supposedly a real 250R 2 stroke, just like the one made in the 80s, i doubt this one even more cause i really dont think honda would be so bold as to make one just before the '06 2 stroke cutoff. anyway, any comments or possible answers to this question would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

they should.. make a change to that pile!!!!
as far as making a 250r.. they should do that also.. they would sell a ton of them i am sure..
i still don think they are going to eliminate 2-strokes.

you know yamaha made a 750 right? Sooo many variants on the original little 200cc 2 stroke twin. Sucker evolved all the way to a 90hp! (detuned to not break the weak chains of the day). Your friend making this junk up is an idiot though, slap him.

Is it possible that your friend saw a Banshee with after market plastics? Such as fullbore or maeir (spelling?) I doubt an 05 model from any manufacturer would be out this soon, it's not even 04 yet. And on the 250R deal, I highly doubt Honda would do that, but if they did, that thing would sell like mad. There would be a waiting list a mile long. That's my .02
