Yeah the weather here still SUCKS....they where giving a couple of inches of snow but it never came
There seems to be some on the tops of the hills stuck to the trees but nothin' like I was wanting. Just rain cold and muddy. Don't get me wrong I like the mud but I don't like to get wet when its in the 20s.
liwarrior I hear ya on the "state of emergency" they do that around here...close the roads for everyone except emergencies. We haven't had a big snow here in a few years...I'd love to see 10-12 inches...I guess the girlfreinds would too I believe I'll build a fire out in the garage... keep me and
Shasta warm...try to straighten that tie rod on that DS. Might hit the bar tonight..with a ride home of course. I might drink a cold one on that wheeler but I won't in a pickup.
Everyone have a good weekend...Have fun and be safe. Shastadog

Default Weekend again... Riding? Don't look good.

I was going to ride friday morning. I was looking so forward to riding in the snow, it started around 1AM friday morning, I was in VA at the time on standby for a elevator load test and got home around 430AM with 3-4" on the ground. Walked around my van to chech the doors and fell flat on my back. I came down really hard on my elbow too, it hurt, so I layed there a minute. Got tired of the snow landing on my face so I got up and went inside. As I slid my arm out of my jacket I felt that the sleave was wet, and thought, Uh-oh. Pulled up the sleave of my sweatshirt to find my elbow bones sticking out of my skin..... skinny, bony a$$ me. I even managed to put a small hole in my sweatshirt with my elbow!! Anyways, went to the hospital, got some stitches and came home. Maybe I'll ride tommorow after I change the oil on my bike.
