i have an 04 raptor le and when I put it in reverse, it bogs down and sputters like the parking brake is engaged.

 

that is normal for the Raptor. It is like a rev limiter when in reverse, there are places that sell an override for it. Or go to raptortranny.com and they show you how to override it cheap and easy. Dont worry, your raptor is okay.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Yeah, its geared a little too high for reverse. It makes it useless in a lot of situations where other bikes make better use of it, like a Z400.... but its still nice to have.
