Default Pipe Questions

What’s the difference between a full pipe and just the exhaust? Is there a performance difference if you don’t go full? Is it worth the extra money?

Where does a silencer play into things?

Are there any good web sites that can explain differences between them? White bros seems to have 10 different pipes but there site doesn’t tell me much.

Default Pipe Questions

Your full exhaust system consists of the header pipe and the silencer(muffler). Where as with just the silencer you'll be using your stock head pipe. On a stock quad, you won't notice much of a difference between using the full system or just the slip-on. Its not until you start modding your engine and spending some moolah that you'll notice differences between the 2. The full system is the best bet with a modded engine because the aftermarket header pipes usually have a larger diameter allowing more exhaust gas to flow out...

If your planning on keeping your engine stock, I'd say save yourself the money and just go with the slip-on. But if you plan on doing some engine work later, I'd say go with the full system. It shouldn't hurt your performance either way.
