any one tell me if they have race a stock banshee against a stock raptor and how it went? Also is there any video clips on the internet of a race between the two.

 

When my friend and I raced our quads stock he got the holeshot, but I caught him and passed him. I'm not sure the distance that we raced but it had to be at least a 1/4 mile....

 

They are pretty equal quads. It usually comes down to the rider. There are 2 guys here that bought their quads as a package deal. One got a She and the other a Rap. They race all the time both on the track and on the strip (field) and they are pretty equal. It's a toss of the coin who will win the next race. They have been moding them pretty equaly as well. So far just pipe, filter, re-jet and airbox mods and they still run side by side.

 

Next week you will be asking, now if I add this mod and on and on and on. Then before you know it you'll be challenging DaBeech. He'll be waiting. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

This weekend in glamis I was dragging some stock banshee with my stock 03 raptor and was getting beat by about two bikes.

 

I raced several banshee's stock vs. stock. Never lost to one.

 

Alot depends on the surface they're dragging on hard terrain will favor the Raptor and sand or loose stuff the Shee. Also depends on the tires. A gecko paddled shee will get run down by a hauler equipped Rappy and vice versa. They are fairly equal machines but the Shee will be faster with less money invested. Of course my Rappy is quicker than my ride buddies Banshees..... 686's rock! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

can you lauch a raptor on the street hard without it wheelying? On my step dad's banshee I can launch it with the motor revved to the top in second and the tires break loose. Maybe it is because of the 22 inch blackwaters?
