i traded my 400ex for 2 new raptors mine blue and i got my wife a red and white
she doesnt have a whole lot of experience but thats the only quad she liked i want
to make it handle a litttle better so i flipped the linkage. wow what a dif doesnt push
and three wheels alot less i also oredered rear wheel spacers. do i need to lower
and widen the front? she doesnt jump so it should be okay to do those mods right?

by the way wow me and her love these quads big improvement over 400ex

I would get spacers all the way around............
BIG difference........

THANKS FOR INFO I THINK I AM GOING TO SWITCH LINKAGE BACK SHE DOESNT LIKE HOW LOW IT SITS I WAS THINKING MAYBE JUST FLIP FRONT RIMS TO COMPENSATE HOW FAR DOES THAT MOVE EM OUT?

Just throw donw the little extra cash for wheel spacers like BigScary said. Alot of people lower their Rappys but if she doesn't like that then widen instead.

is it safe to use spacers if you jump alot? are they strong?

I got mine from DMI Racing and they are awesome. They seem to be holding up excellent and I love the design. It grips your rim all the way around and bolts up excellent. Don't waste your time with Durablue or some of the others that never seem to fit right. Get the DMI spacers and you'll be set.

I can attest that the Dura Blues are a joke. I bought a set of front ones and wound up giving them away. No way they would fit.

Hound... I thought the Durablue easy fits worked great when i had them on my bike! What problems did you have with them?
