I think around the track the 450r because it has way more stock components that preform way better. It will have way better handling than a raptor and will be lighter. But the yzf450 will kill both of them!!

 

do you honestly think a yfz is going to kill the 450r???? Seriously, they will be very close and it will come down to preference I feel.

NO. Wrong. Clearly the 450r is out done by yamaha's 450. In the first case you have to add a 300 dollar uograde for the 450r preformance department to even come close, and there spec's still show a power shortage. On top of that the components on the yzf450 are better race ready products. So yes the yzf450 will kill the honda 450r.

 

you sound pretty confident considering the Honda isn't even out yet, and how do you know there will be a big power difference?? Everything I have read states that both the YFZ and 450R with some minor upgrades (Cam mod, or HRC Kit) put out around 47 - 48 HP. Sounds pretty even to me. All I'm trying to say is that they are both going to be awesome bikes and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to sit around saying that one will kill the other when none of us have even seen the Honda.
