No filter "puts out power". Get a K&N.

I will never use a k&n in any motorcycle again, I had one and you could run your finger in the carb boot and see how much dirt and dust really does make its way through. I only use foam filters not and they work great.

 

hey this is yfzfofiveoh just on a different account. So if you are reccomending a foam filter, which one should i get? is a gyt-r multi stage a good choice?

 

I have never had a problem running K&N's as long as you run an outerwear as well. I have that set-up, and will put an outerwear overtop of the airbox lid as well just to double up protection. Foam filters plug way too fast in my opinion and are a pain to clean!! K&N's last forever!

 

GYTRs seem to be as good as any 2 stage foam filter. I haven't had any trouble with mine and I clean it religiously and it's holding up good.
