The 04' pred's are supposed to be better built then the 03' models. I didn't know about all the problems until i read about it in a article a couple weeks ago.

The biggest problem my buds `03 Predator has is all the dust it collects, he never gets a chance to ride, working all the time.

it was uncomfortable... the power was great.. but i didnt like the rest of the machine... i may be a puss.. but my thumb hurt like hell after a few laps because the throttle was so stiff and i had arm pump like a MF'er. and it vibrates like crazy.. needs anti vibe clamps on the bars or something.

SHHHHHHHH!!!! Be quiet, the YFZ guys might be listening!! I like my raptor, but the YFZ just felt a little small, just didnt sit right for me. Its a great bike though!!! I will hopefully have elkas all the way around and the sparks exhaust on it by the end of 2004.....

Hey Hozed.......True story >> When my local dealer got in his first YFZ, I raced down to look at it. On the way down there, I talked myself into buying it because of all the hype about it. I got there, sat on it, messed with it, and left dissapointed. It felt too small for me (6 ft. - 220lbs) and I wasn't sure I liked the looks. Plus, it was alot of money! A week or so of contemplating and hearing more good things about it, I went back and boght one.

Well, suffice it to say, I haven't been dissapointed one bit. When riding, it doesn't feel too small, it feels really light, nice to throw around, handles fantastic, and has plenty or power for me.

People complain about this or that, and probably rightfully so, but for my riding stlye and the type of terrain I ride, Its perfect!!!!

And, obviously, I now love the look of the machine.

Late!!!!

PH
