I'm pretty new to all this tech talk, but catch on fairly quickly. My question I have is about my chain and sprockets on my 2002 blaster. I have a standard 92 link chain with my 13/40 gearing and just ordered a new front sprocket with the standard 13 teeth. I was thinking about going up to a 41 or 42 on my back sprocket, but do I need to have a longer chain then the standard 92 link. I just got a new one yesterday from a guy off ebay who parted out a 2004 so my chain isn't longer then stock, just the 92. If any one can help, I need to know how the chain and sprocket sizes work. Thanks

Interesting, I the chain does have a master link with it. I was always told that it was a bad idea to run a chain with 2 master links that it will break alot quicker or you will have a ton more problems. If this is the case and you can run 2 then I shouldn't have a problem changing my gearing. Anyone else out there running with more then 1 master link?
