I'm not trying to start trouble but...................I'll go ahead and post this thread.
Anyway, it's obvious that the Recon with a top speed of 47mph isn't going to beat the Banshee with a top speed of 72mph. Although the Recon would have a tighter turning radius, lower gearing, less hastle because of the semi-auto and reverse. So in certain situations the Recon would have the upper hand. Top speed isn't everything. So I'd say that the Banshee would beat the Recon in a straight line but it might have some trouble in the tighter woods with loads of obstacles. It would also depend on who's riding.

It really is silly to compare the two quads in the first place. Some of the replies were simply sarcastic so don't take them too serious. Maybe it would be better to compare the Banshee and the 250R.

My Recon has been a blast. Thing goes anywhere, anytime. Sometimes it is more fun to ride then my V. I need to buy the wife a new Rancher so I can have the Recon all to myself.

My recon is a fun little machine but the only place it could catch a banshee is if you drop them both off a cliff. The recon tops out at less than 40mph. I suppose if the banshee is running diesel instead of premix you could do it but other than that no freakin way in heck it's gonna happen.
