i have a stock raptor my friend has a stock pred except he dropped a tooth on the front sprocket we race on tar on a weekly basis and i beat him by about 4 lengths through 1 2 3 then he staysthat far behind me until he tops out and i keep going

idk mann i have a raptor and its fast to me but on the airport i was racing at the pred beat me the first time. The key is to go fast at the begining and both raptor and pred are bout the same top end speed. One thing that matters a lot is the wind holding you back. I learned this from skiing. The more airodinamic you are the faster you are. -Matt-

 

There are a lot of better choices than the predator out there. I would not own a polaris yet. Maybe in a few more years. nah, never a polaris in my household.

 

i didnt even get that bad when i was stock VS a piped and filtered rappy... we raced 3 times i beat him once only cause ne ended up running over the guys foot who started us off... we were in an area about 9 feet wide... so we were tight... and as for top speeds.. thay are about the same.. until of course mods come in...
