Did my valves... WOW!!
#1
I checked my valves today myself today for the first time. They were done the first time by the shop at 20 hours, it has 64 on it now. I was really starting to notice that I didnt have that sharp bark in first gear if you slap the throtle and the front raises up, wheelying easily. It was also starting to lack the top end it had b4, just kinda dying off like it was running out of gas. After posting some pics of the plug, everyone said it looked almost too rich. SO, I grit my teeth and tried doing the valves. A lot easier than I thought for sure, the exhaust valves were a little frustrating to check and get correct, but all in all it took 2 hours. Starts a little easier now too, and oh my god the top end I have now!!!!!!!!! I forgot how the front wheels would pull up while nailing it in 2nd gear. I will be doing this for sure every other oil change, which I do every 20 hours. Im happy again, and so is my baby!! Bad thing is, Ive got 2 raptors to do, mine and the wifes.... its almost fun though, I like tinkering on them!

Saves a gang of money, and you know they were done to specs. Doing all the work yourself is good, If it fails you have noone else to blame.
