I just put a huge gash in my rear Ohtsu tires(off a 400ex) I wanted to stick with a radial. how does the stock yfz rear tire perform? the 400ex tire hooks up like crazy is the yfz tire as good?better? does any one have a set they want to sell for a fair price?

Just grab some Kenda Klaws for the rear end. They are very reasonably priced, come in 6 ply, hook up better than stock tires, and they even feel almost like a radial with a little more sidewall flex than some of the other sport tires!!

 

klaws was gona be my other choice if I go New. 6ply might not be a bad idea. any one have feed back on the yfz stock tires?

 

yeah, any stock tires are really overpriced.

and they are 2 ply.

so you should look for something else...like kenda klaws, razr's or razr 2's, fast trekkars. just about anything is cheaper then the stock tires.
