Kiwi craig said 77mph but august dirtwheels said directly from the magazine "Although Beal wouldn't give any specific mph readings, the raptor would have to top out in the low 80's to beat its competitors. Beal a yamaha representitive said the yamaha was faster in drags of 100 and 200m along with top speed.

 

Guys, the comparision chart I was allowed to view was in Kilometres per hour, I might have screwed up the conversion, the guts of it was that the raptor was somewhere around 8 to 9 mph faster on top end than a stock DS650.

The 100m dash figures I quoted were spot on.....

Kiwi it doesn't really matter its fast and faster than anything else. I know this is a yamaha forum but i got a good deal on a 300ex but know I want something faster I just cant wait till I can drive to make more money so I can buy a raptor I think the it is going to be awesome
