Default still a little lean up top

my banshee is lean on the top end. I am running fmf pipes with 280 mains, needle in the stock posistion, and pilot jet is at stock settings. should I move the needle up a clip or run 290 mains? I ride at sea level and the humidity is pretty high (70+) percent. thanks.

If the mid-range is fine then leave it alone and go up in the mains, but it doesn't hurt to test what it does with the needle in a different position sometimes you'll be surprised. I have my needle one notch leaner than factory(due to porting reed cages) and what a difference it made, and running 330 mains and it has incredible power and snap everywhere. The power band comes on just above 1/4 throttle.

thanks the midrange seems to be fine so I guess I will go up to 290's or 300's. By the way i'm running a k@n clamp on with outerwear and no lid.

I have stock airfilter without the snorkle on the lid and 1" cut off the back off the lid. I will soon be running without the lid as soon I get the pro-flow adapter kit in.
