My buddy is getting his Banshee bored to a 370. I am wondering how much more HP the extra bore will give him.

My guess is 2-3 HP.

He is NOT getting the 370 stroker just the bore.

Any concerns with this kit?

 

Good Question anyone out there have an accurate figure.

 

It will probably not gain much at all. The larger pistons (last bore, why?) will get some more torque but could even lose out on top end power.

 

Is he porting to or boring only?


Not near as much gain as a stock bore 4 mm stroker would be.

 

He has already had port work done (very agressive!)

He had some damage to the jug and needed a bore to clean in up but, was talked into going to a 370 for more power. He already has the larger carbs, cool head and again, the port work so, this is just a slight increase in piston/jug size.
