Default Convince me now!!

Convince me that a Raptor is the bike for me. I will be riding the dunes, and trails. I am 6'1, 230. My last bike was a Warrior. I just want to make sure that I am making the right decision. I am gonna buy in about an hour, so input would be great.

I really like the Z400, but the DS is out because of no reverse. I have a bad back, and I cannot be luggin around a 500 pound bike.

If you think the Z400 would be better for me, let me know.

Thanks for your time. I have made alot of threads lately, but I want to make sure that I make the right choice.

Update: Bought me an 04 red and white Raptor. Nice bike, and I am stoked!!!!

The Raptor is the better bike for you because you can apply a pipe, and really wake up the beast. The Raptor will fit you more comfortably because of your size. I'm 6'0 185, and the Raptor fits me good. The Raptor is a good step up from the Warrior, and you will be very happy with your purchase.

The Raptor also has reverse, which is great for riding trails.

The Z400 is a good ride, but the Raptor has a ton more torque and power. In just about any type of race, the Raptor will spank the Z400, and having a fast quad is always good.

I definetly reccomend the Raptor over the Z400! Hands down, without question.

BTW, what color you getting?

And the red/white raptors w/ the red sub frames are sweet. There is another reason to pick up the yamaha.

Both of them would be a fine choice but i would say raptor becuase they have way more power just less handling ... which is not all that hard to fix.

Who knows that rappy just may make your back feel good again when your roosting all the posers behind you ...lol

They are getting a Z ready for me to test ride. I am going to ride the Z and the Raptor, then decide.

Good idea .. ride them both and snag the one that is more comfortable to your riding style. They both have alot in common so compare them closely

Well I rode them both. The Z is a fine machine, but I am going to go with the Raptor. I think the lack of power will get to me, and I can just ride the Raptor the way it is for now. Raptor takes off like a rocket

The Z is a great machine, and I was really impressed . Everything about it just seems right, but the bike didn't fit me very well.

Thanks for the input guys~
