95Wolverine - My computer is screwing up again and I cant get back to my personal message page to pm you back. Thats good to hear you get the jetting dead on though, I bet that thing flys. Im having trouble getting mine to run really good. I may end up going to a 36mm race carb later on. I have the extra money for the cam right now but I dont think Im gonna do that untill later and just go to a bigger carb pretty soon and take care of all of the jetting odds and ends.
I dont have the Warn 424 Select on mine. I wish I did but I dont. They say that the Warn model is easier to operate than the Highlifter version and a little better built. I think If I was gonna get one I would go with the Warn model. I cant remember what all you said about it because it wont let me get back in to read the rest of it. I went to reply to it and it froze the web page and it hasnt let me back since. It keeps freezing up.

The highlifter model has all the linkage/shift ring out in the open, mine has a problem with the shift block slipping off the shift ring causing it to be half locked in/out. this is very annoying during a race,LOL. I will be getting a warn, ive heard of no problems like this with them.

I haven't saw one of the HighLifter disconnects yet, but the Warn unit I have seems to be well made. Warn has been making small gears and ect for winches for yearsso I figured they know how to biuld something like the 424s well. The only thing I can complain about is the rubber anti rotation strap. Its a little thin. Not a problem at all. Just I heard of one breaking and letting the unit spin pulling the cable out. They said Warn charged $100 to fix it. I am just going to put a thicker peice of rubber on mine and maybe a saftey strap in case the rubber fails the strap would keep it from spinning around. When I bought mine I was going to have to buy the stock drive shaft anyway. So it was the perfect time to get the 424. It is the best thing I ever added to my Wolvy.
