Raptor Oil
#1
I just got back from the Dealer and they told me to put 5 w 30 oil because it is colder out. Well I changed my oil but I did not change my oil filter. They told me not to and that it was ok because I just changed it. Well I warmed my quad up and then I let it cool down for about 3 minutes. I then checked my dipstick and it was over the full line. I was wondering if that would hurt it. Should I drain some oil out or is it fine that its above the full line. My quad is not running good at all. Is it because its like 25 degrees out or because of that. I can warm it up for along time and it still dont like to run good. Do I need to change spark plugs or what. please help out. Thanks

I wouldn't take the chance.....Drain some out. It'll only take you a minute, and its not worth taking the chance of blowing out seals from the extra pressure.
Have you ridden it since it got that cold out? I would think that its probably jetting. If you had it jetted for running in say 50-70 degrees, and then it dropped to 25, your going to be pretty lean and your engine performance will suffer.
