Default raptor shock adjustment

whats the best way to set up a 01 stock rear shock for whoops.i wanted to be able to keep the wheels on the ground and be able to get more speed through the whoop section to get the rpms up in 3rd to make it up the hills faster.

Default raptor shock adjustment

I've tried to set mine up for whoops. I like to hammer most of them with the rear wheels only if I can. I used this guideline and its been working for me so far. A set i use as a guide would kill me in 2nd or higher. Now I take em half way through 4th.

Rear shock only--- preload, set it high for whoops, only about 5-10 of travel. Its not a dirt bike and you need to have the shock start on the softer damping range near the top of travel.
Rebound-- if the rear end bucks up, slow down rebound. If it packs up and gets too hard after the first 2-3, speed it up.
Compression-- slow & stiff without kicking side to side. If it kicks sideways, speed it up.
