Default Saw and sat on the TRX 450R

Went to the big motorcycle show tonight and I came across the TRX 450R. Seems to fit my stature pretty good (5'6 140 lbs) but man almighty... How the hell do you kick that beast over? I tried pushing down with some good force and it would barely budge. Hope for the rider's sake this thing has a auto-decompression feature.

I started it one kick with tennis shoes on......it starts easy! The kick isn't as easy as the Banshee, and the forward thing is a little different, but it's definately not hard!

i think the forward kick is pathetic but you would get used to it! it does have a decompresion lever from what i've read that will help! a 10.5:1 compression would prbably be hard for the smaller peeps. the banshee has 6.5:1 comp which is cake!!

Have you ever kick started a machine before? You don't just put your foot on it and half-heartedly push down. It takes a certain technique and a little bit of practice to get it down. Shouldn't be a big deal, though. Really, try kicking over a hot XR600 sometime...

Hey kickstsrts are great!!!! My ATC is a forward kickstart. And yes, you do get used to it, and AlaskaYFM is correct, you dont just push, you have to really kick with power. Once you get it, its all good I had to kickstart my neighbor's blaster.....I thought that was wierd. Then shortly after starting it, I crashed it into a wooden fence, due to the fact that it had no brakes, and I forgot. No damage though, only to the fence.
