Default Wut to look for

i was lookin into buyin a used banshee. i know that 2-strokes can be a pain to maintain if not taken care of properly. i was wonderin wut to look for in a used to 2-stroke to make sure i don't buy a lemon and end up payin more for repairs. thanks for the help.

just look it over... if u cant see any damage its probably alright... only weigh u could know for sure would be to tear it down... be sure to ask the owner questions about how he maintained it.... if u do that u should be able to find a farely nice one....

Ride it and make sure the tranny feels good and ask him to pull a spark plug so you can see it. If its white or light gray I wouldnt buy it because that means its been run lean and its possible the pistons/heads are pitted.

Default Wut to look for

try to push the kickstarter down with your hands. if it pushes really easy than there might not be alot of compression. check the oil and make sure you hear it run and drive it b4 you whip out the money.
